Brakes -- Changed EBC to AutoZone Duralast
The EBC RedStuff front pads have reached 1.5 mm with even wear. The front pads lasted 37k miles and the rear pads are still on with 3 mm remaining. I enjoyed them and highly recommend EBC RedStuff as a performance pad.
But I got a great deal at Autozone for their top Duralast C-Max Gold pads and Duralast rotors. I got front and rear pads and front rotors for about 35% of the cost of EBC parts. The C-Max Gold pads are high ceramic formula with rubber shims for quiet operation and come with new anti-rattle clips
Duralast front rotor: 44583 (28 x 295 mm)
C-Max Gold front pads: DGC 1089
C-Max Gold rear pads: DGC 536
Initial impressions:
Even after bedding-in, the EBC brakes took about 500 miles to mate to the rotors and quiet down, while the Duralast brakes were smooth and quiet from the first stop. The Duralast C-Max braking is strong and more immediate (less progressive) than the EBC RedStuff. They make about the same amount of dust, but it is easier to wash off.
While I haven't done measured stopping tests, the Duralast brakes feel like they might fade just slightly more than the EBC brakes. Short of an auto-cross with repeated braking, I don't think it's very noticable.
Many auto-crossers use the Duralast rotors because they are inexpensive and hold up well. With about 1500 miles now, I have no complaints.

Yes you can, and many people do, but it pushes contaminated fluid backward throught the system.
Opening the bleed valve pushes the contaminated fluid out of the caliper.
