The Acura Maintenance Schedule reference I posted with the sub-code 3 interval defined as 60k miles was from December 2013
Do you have a reference for this?...that transmission service is tied to the 6th oil change or hard 45k miles? I haven't seen that...Acura doesn't really relate the sub-code interval with mileage very well at all. Just that it's a "sub-code 3" interval. Where I have found a mileage associated with sub-code 3...it's 60k miles.
Just did a quick search....and found a couple dealers which either have sub-code 3 as 60k mile -or- transmission service is at 60k miles, where transmission service related to a mileage at all. Most don't.

There was no disagreement with any of the *, so I'm not sure why you posted all that again.

What is the background of that vehicle? Did you buy it new or used?
The reason why I ask is because I come across lots of experiences on forums based on nothing. Be it oil, batteries...whatever.
For example on another forum I am on, some member makes the silly statement that "the aftermarket control arm bushings totally transformed his car". Well duhhh, a new control arm bushing will outshine some worn out 15 year old original control arm bushing that is totally worn. What did he expect? Of course when this car was new and evaluated by journalists, it was flawless.

hiii does anyone here know if the 2010 Acura MDX has the VCM system? I was looking to get a S-VCM controller to see if that helps with the jerks 1to 2nd gear shift in my 2010 Acura MDX but the website i looks for it they only mention Honda/Acura 3.5 and for Acura MDX 2013 and up but I see no different between the 2010 MDX and 2013 MDX.

Not willing to embrace the "Turbo 4" RDX powertrain platform of the 3rd Gen RDXs, I was able to find a cherry 2018 RDX-Advance AWD for my wife the other day. Less than 53k miles, locally owned and serviced on time, every time.
The 2013 RDX-Tech my wife currently drives (and about which this thread was initiated) has north of 200k miles, so it was time. We're going to hang onto it as an extra vehicle, because it is such a solid vehicle and AWD...it just won't be a daily driver.
The 2018 Advance is certainly a "step above" the 2013 Tech in its tech and improvements. The 2018 doesn't have the initial "driveability" issues that our 2013 Tech model did. The 2018 is smooth running up and down the gears, where the 2013 just wasn't, until I put Valvoline MaxLife Synthetic ATF into its transmission and installed a S-VCM Controller. That said, the seat of my pants could plainly detect VCM engaging / disengaging in the new 2018 Advance.
So as it is with all baseline maintenance on new (used) acquisitions, I performed a x3 drain / fill with Valvoline MaxLife Synthetic ATF. Because this vehicle also has VCM, I also added the S-VCM Controller. No more feel of the VCM engage / disengage and the confidence of running on all 6 cylinders all the time!

It certainly wasn't because I was the smartest guy in the room. As I chronicled early in this thread, I first tried it based on recommendations others had made to cure a mis-behaving Nissan Pathfinder transmission and then in our 08 Honda Odyssey. The 08 Odyssey was purchased new and had everything done to it from re-programs to torque converter replaced under warranty. The only thing that cured its bad manners was the switch to Valvoline MaxLife ATF. I've been using it exclusively ever since across a bunch of previous and currently owned Honda /Acura vehicles.
