We just got a 2010 base RDX WITHOUT the technology pkg, I would like to wire a Valentine 1 direct to the rearview mirror using either the invisocord or stealth cord. Has anyone done this yet?

If so, does the small wiring cover on the rear of the mirror just pop off and which wires did you use for the ground and power source?

I did my wife's TL by wiring direct into the overhead console, but would much rather use the invisicord route. I did it on my Suburban and like it MUCH better than a traditional hardwire set up, just hoping someone has already done this.

Thanks in advance!

Hi:
I have been noticing it for about a year. The car was bought August, 2007. On both headlights, a very thin film started to come off at the very top end of each light. Its now about an inch of space spreading down. Will dealer replace them under warranty? Thanks for any feedback!

I was at my Acura dealer getting an A service and was talking to him about options for iPod integration. Right now I have a 3.5mm cable that plugs into the docking part of my iPod. It works great but I now have an iPhone as well.

The dealer mentioned mp3carpros.com - more specifically he recommended this iPod integration system for the Acura RDX 2008. It looks like it does everything I want which includes:

displays iPod screen on Nav screen with XM capability (which I have)

Integrates with satellite radio and doesn't take that channel away

provides power to iPod

can use steering wheel controls to navigate iPod

doesn't lock out iPod screen and while when playing

This looks like a pretty good deal. And the dealer has installed a few of these into other Acuras and he said they've been working well. It would be nice to know that I've installed a product that the dealer has experience with, even though they can't really "approve" the system.

I will also state that I have looked at the DICE iPod and others as well.

Down Pipe; Apparently they did have a prototype made of this but the chap that was developing it left the company and the proto part with him!
However Mike says that if ATLP can get a list of at least ten(10) names then they will make the downpipe on a partial deposit basis.
You can contact Mike at 818 746 6997 or mike@acuratlparts.com
