How to remove tail lights??

I'm sure this info exists somewhere on this board but for some reason I can't find it doing various searches. I want to remove the tail light assembly from the back hatch and hope that someone can guide me or even better has photos. The back quarter panel light and 3rd brake light are easy but can't quite seem to figure out the hatch lights. So what I have attempted so far is to remove the 2 acorn bolts along the outside of the hatch and the small sheet metal screw below them. I have removed the small panel from inside the hatch and inside I can see at least 4 other bolts but have not removed them thinking they are just apart of the internal guts of the housing. Any help from this point is greatly appreciated. Btw the reason for doing this is I want to smoke out those assemblies and figure this is the cleanest route rather than taping everywhere.
Thanks

The 4 nuts you see inside the hatch, are retaining the tailight. If you can't reach them through the small panel, you'll have to remove the hatch inner trim panel.
