Question Directional flasher relay location?

I've put in some LED's and want to replace the flasher relay with an aftermarket so it doesn't hyperflash and I've physically looked and researched and can't find the part # and/or location of this relay? I did find where it was on the 3G TL but the RDX has a different set up.. Or maybe there isn't a seperate flasher?

Thanks

What you could to do is install resisters in the line to prevent the "hyperflash".
Check the store that you got the leds from!

Its dosent use a relay as such but what Acura calles a 'turn signal/hazard circuit' located on the fuse box (driver side under dash) second row from the top of the box.

on pg 401 it shows the interior fuse panel and none of the circuits are for the hazard/turn. It does show the under hood #10 fuse on pg 402 as the hazard/flasher fuse. Where are you getting your info from? I also looked at all the relays in the interior fuse panel and they have labels and none are for the hazard or flasher. I thought that perhaps the flasher relay was in the actual instrument gage cluster but I couldn't find it in any diagrams using the estore.honda parts website. Do you know something different to contradict this? If so could you provide a picture, link or diagram? Thanks for helping out.

And I don't like adding seperate resistors into the line, it's not the safest, or cleanest way to do it.

wspy, thanks for taking the time to scan the page for me. So since the circuit does show it heading back to the under dash fuse panel (photo 49) could you take a look at the picture to see if it shows any more detail on which relay it could be? Vleds.com does have relays to replace the original but I just need to pull the right one out to see what it looks like and make sure it physically will fit/work. Thanks again!

I wasn't clear above.. I meant that I see the picture (49) and wonder if you have any more details (pictures or instructions) in the manual regarding how to change that relay? Or they just want the tech to reach up in back and pull it out? I acutally had my hand behind that box last weekend cause I was wondering if it was in that group. It felt like there were many relays and since there was only about 2 inches of space I couldn't see behind it and didn't want to start pulling them out to find it with the fear of not being able to line things up and get it back in.. lol But that may end up being my only way of figuring out which one it is.. I do have a small dental mirror that I may be able to get up in there to see. What a great place to put relays Acura, thanks for making it easy.

Man I looked and searched and they dont have a diagram showing which relay does what on the fuse box. Only for the one in the engine compt.
As you said, ther are a number of relays on the top section ( i think both front and back ) of that fuse panel.
Only thing I can think of is to turn on the indicator and then try and feel which one ,if any, is clicking/vibrating.

I did an led swap on the front turn sigs and used the resistors. They work very well, just mount them in a location ( on metal ) that wont affect other materials because they get real hot!

It's funny you say to feel for it. That's what I was doing when I got my hand up in there last week. It must be a real smooth relay, I didn't feel anything. When it warms up i'll try to get my mirror in there and see if they are labeled. Otherwise I'll be doing the resistors like you did or just letting it hyperflash lol..

for one, you're not in the proper subforum for it.
2. we have no idea what year your TL is.
Gotta ask the right questions to get the right answers!

My apologies. I realized I could've just sent him a personal message. As you can guess I have little to no experience posting in forums, thank you for your feedback. I own a 2013 TL btw.

EP34/NOVITA.Location: Driver's side. Beside the fuses. It's a square black plastic. This is for 03 CL-S.

I'm bumping an old thread here. I would also like to replace the resistors within the turn signal relay and haven't been able to find it's location. I previously replaced the resistors on my TL using the following thread, but the RDX is a different beast:

Hey all, I know this thread is a bit old now, but I was wondering if anyone else had further insight on the turn signal/hazard relay location?
