what do you mean by "lifting"? like bubbling? or the panel that's actually wrapped in leather is separating from the console lid?

Same thing happened to my '08. I took it to the dealer and they agreed to replace it however it was back ordered. They just received it and I am going today to get it put on. I hope the replacement does not do the same thing.

5 -6 large bubbles. Acura is replacing the hinged lid, really the only way to fix it.

Lexol, lexol, lexol. Keep the car cleaned & conditioned and this problem will belong to the next owner.

At some point the warranty goes away...and so does the courtesy replacement...here is what an RL owner did...
http://rl.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=781944 In the case of minor bubbling, one reported using an iron at medium heat with a towel so as not to burn the vinyl, and it re-heated the vinyl enough to stick it back and remove the bubble. Proceed with caution. Too much heat and.... |
